Message from the Program Director

Welcome to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West) Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship Program. I am pleased that you are interested in learning more about our excellent program. We have a strong roster of dedicated faculty who are leaders in the field and yet are available at all times with open doors to our trainees. We expect excellence and hard work from the fellows, yet foster a nurturing and collegial environment with focus on the quality of the training experience. Our fellows are happy and proud to be part of this community and play active roles in house staff education and patient care at our three teaching sites. In addition, our training program is integrally associated with the Mount Sinai health system allowing us even broader opportunity to enhance the educational experiences of our fellows. There has never been a better time to be a trainee at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West) and I hope that you will come and see for yourself all that this program has to offer.
