The Eleanor Wong and Miranda Tang Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy in Honor of Dr. Jerome Waye
Thank you for your interest in the Eleanor Wong and Miranda Wong Tang Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy in honor of Dr. Jerome Waye at The Mount Sinai Hospital. The goal of this one-year program is to provide the candidate with a truly outstanding training experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic GI endoscopy. The fellow will work hand-in-hand with dedicated and experienced GI faculty who exhibit expertise in a broad range of diseases and endoscopic techniques. The learning environment in the Mount Sinai Endoscopy Center is particularly suited to training with state-of-the-art equipment and the latest in endoscopic technology. Lastly, the large referral base and the patient population unique to Mount Sinai allows for access to a wide breadth of disease pathology, interesting and unusual cases, and complex and unique procedures. Most importantly, the trainee will learn the art of compassionate, patient-oriented care in a multidisciplinary team approach and will interact with experts in surgery, oncology, pathology, and radiology on a daily basis.
