Mount Sinai Morningside- BronxCare
Cardiology Fellowship
The Divisions of Cardiology at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and the BronxCare Health System marry two centers of clinical excellence and academic prestige to provide a comprehensive yet individualized cardiology training program. Our primary program is based at Mount Sinai Morningside (formerly Saint Luke’s Hospital), a hospital with a 160-year history rich in traditions for pioneering work. As one of the core hospitals of the Mount Sinai Health System, Mount Sinai Morningside offers clinical expertise in all aspects of cardiovascular care. The balance of our fellows’ rotations take place at BronxCare, a voluntary hospital located in the Northern part of NYC. While at BronxCare, fellows are immersed in a more intimate learning environment, with dedicated faculty and staff providing one on one education and mentorship. The time spent at BronxCare affords our fellows the opportunity to train in a culturally and socio-economically diverse community, helping them to develop the unique skills and clinical confidence that is needed to provide expert care to all genders, races, ethnicities and cultures. By combining these distinct training environments into a single program, our fellows receive a uniquely comprehensive education spanning the spectrum of cardiovascular diseases and are positioned for success in careers in clinical cardiology and/or academic medicine.
