Our program is led by Deepak Bhatt, MD, MPH, Director of Mount Sinai Heart; Valentin Fuster, MD, PhD, President of Mount Sinai Heart and Physician-in-Chief of The Mount Sinai Hospital; Samin Sharma, MD, Director of the Clinical Cardiovascular Institute, Filip Swirski, PhD, Director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) and the fellowship’s Physician-Scientist Track; and Martin Goldman, MD, Program Director of the Cardiology Fellowship and Vice Chair of Education for Mount Sinai Heart.
Our goal is to develop outstanding future leaders in cardiovascular medicine through a rigorous curriculum consisting of clinical and academic study and active scientific investigations in translational and clinical cardiovascular medicine.
