Cardiology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside-BronxCare
Our Division recruits three cardiology fellows on average per year (with one additional fellow recruited every three years). Eligibility is according to qualifications set forth in the Section of Eligibility and Selection of Residents of the Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We select from among eligible applicants on the basis of candidates’ demonstrated ability, clinical and academic accomplishments, strength of written recommendations, and personal qualities. Qualified applicants are not discriminated against with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability or veteran status. Our Division participates in the National Residency matching program. We accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). For application materials, you may visit the ERAS WEBSITE. Three letters of recommendation should be included with your application. We select approximately 25 applicants for interviews in addition to considering internal Mount Sinai Morningside and BronxCare candidates. Invited candidates will receive an introduction to our program from our fellowship leadership, interviews by faculty members, and ample time to gain an in-depth understanding of our program from our fellows’ perspective.
