Our Fellows
First Year Fellows
Dana Elizabeth Greene, MD
New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell, New York, NY
Dr. Greene was raised in Armonk, New York. She completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, majoring in Human Biology, Health and Society. She spent two years working in consumer goods sales before attending medical school at New York Medical College. She completed her Pediatrics Residency and Chief Residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell. Her interest in allergy and immunology is lifelong as she grew up with anaphylactic food allergies and she is excited to continue that passion in fellowship. Her clinical interests include prevention of food allergies through early introduction, medical education and quality improvement related to asthma management. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and family in the city, trying new Pilates classes and baking.
Jamie Moore Fried, MD, PhD
Internal Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY
Dr. Fried, a California native, moved out east for her undergraduate studies at Cornell University, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a concentration in Genetics and Development. After college, Dr. Fried conducted research in the Iadecola laboratory at Weill Cornell Medical College, investigating immune modulation in ischemic stroke and neurovascular disease. She then pursued a combined MD/PhD in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) and earned a doctorate in Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Fried then went on to train in Internal Medicine on the ABIM Research Pathway /Physician-Scientist Training Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai-Mount Sinai Hospital. During her residency training she was accepted into the AAAAI Chrysalis Project which solidified her interest in the field of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Fried looks forward to continuing her training as a fellow in Allergy and Immunology and developing her career as a physician-scientist. Dr. Fried is interested in unraveling the immunological mechanisms that lead to allergic and immune-mediated disease with a particular interest in development of and desensitization to food allergy, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, and auto-inflammatory disease. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys reading classic literature, playing piano, hiking, hosting dinner parties and spending time with family.
Sohini Shah Kamdar, MBBS
Internal medicine, NYU Langone Health New York, NY

Neil is delighted to be moving to New York to begin his Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Mount Sinai. His current interests center on food and drug allergies, but he intends to explore the diverse subject matter that Allergy/Immunology has to offer.
Faris Jaber, MD
Internal Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West), New York, NY
Dr. Jaber was born and raised in Amman, Jordan, where he was awarded his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Jordan. He then moved to Boston to pursue an interest in Immunology when he did a postdoctoral fellowship in research dissecting the underlying mechanisms of primary immunodeficiencies. Following that, he continued his clinical training by doing his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai West/Morningisde at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is now excited to join the Allergy and Immunology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he is planning to leverage the excellent teaching opportunities and mentorship to contribute to the field as an aspiring physician scientist.
