Our Fellows
First Year Fellows
Chloe Citron, MD
Pediatrics, NYU Hassenfeld Children's Hospital, New York, NY

I grew up in Westchester County, New York. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, majoring in the Interdisciplinary Studies of Life Sciences and Visual Arts. I attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where I first discovered my interest in immunology. I had multiple food allergies growing up and was very excited to discover a subspecialty that combined my personal history of allergies with my growing medical interest in the immune system. I completed my pediatrics residency at NYU Langone, and my passion for allergy and immunology was confirmed during an away rotation at NIAID where I learned about the spectrum of immune dysregulation. My clinical interests include the systemic manifestations of immune dysregulation and auto-inflammatory disorders and promoting health equity in allergy and immunology subspecialty care. In my free time, I enjoy drawing, painting, and walking my golden retriever, Callie.
Benjamin Hsieh, MD
Internal Medicine, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ

Born in Taiwan, I later moved to the United States, where I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, majoring in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Biostatistics. I earned my medical degree at National Yang-Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, then completed my Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. My interest in Allergy and Immunology was sparked by personal experiences with allergic disease and further developed through clinical training and research. I am particularly drawn to the field’s integration of immunologic mechanisms, data-driven insights, and a personalized approach to patient care. My clinical interests include asthma, rhino-ocular allergy, and food allergy, with a focus on improving diagnostic strategies and understanding disparities in disease through the application of analytical and statistical methods. In my free time, I enjoy running, traveling, board games, and exploring new restaurants.
Dorde Jevtic, MD
Internal Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Queens, NY

I am a New York native, born and raised in Queens. I completed my undergraduate degree at NYU then moved across the river to New Jersey for my Masters, medical school, and Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers. I have a strong background in service and advocating for the underserved in my community, co-founding the Fresh Produce Distribution Task Force as a medical student during COVID, for which I received special recognition from the State of New Jersey. While in residency, my interest in Allergy and Immunology grew after seeing patients with Stiff Person Syndrome, IGG4RD, and spearheading a medical education initiative on antibiotic stewardship and penicillin allergy. I look forward to further my training in A/I, with a special interest in medical education and food allergy. In my free time, I love trying new restaurants in the city, cooking up a storm, traveling, and spending time with my loved ones.
Second Year Fellows
Nicholas Lepore, MD
Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark, NJ

I was born and raised in Wayne, New Jersey. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, majoring in Microbiology, before attending medical school at Rutgers NJMS. I remained at Rutgers NJMS for my Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency, where I served as Chief Resident. Having grown up with multiple anaphylactic food allergies and as a patient at the Jaffe Food Allergy Center at Mount Sinai, I developed a lifelong passion for allergy and immunology. My clinical interests include food allergy and asthma, with a focus on translational research exploring the pathogenesis of food allergy and mechanisms of oral immunotherapy. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, attending sporting events—especially University of Michigan games—and indulging in dairy-free sweets.
Stephanie Jeong, MD
Internal Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY

I was born in South Korea and grew up in Northern New Jersey. I completed my undergraduate studies at Princeton University, majoring with honors in Chemistry. After college, I spent a year working in the Clinical Genetics department at CHOP before attending medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where my interest in Allergy/Immunology was first sparked. I also completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and am delighted to continue my training in Allergy and Immunology at Mount Sinai! My clinical and academic interests include food allergies and primary and secondary immunodeficiencies. Outside of medicine, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, traveling, and going to Pilates/barre classes.

Third Year Fellows
Jamie Moore Fried, MD, PhD
Internal Medicine, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, NY

I am California native, who moved out east for my undergraduate studies at Cornell University, where I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a concentration in Genetics and Development. After college, I conducted research in the Iadecola laboratory at Weill Cornell Medical College, investigating immune modulation in ischemic stroke and neurovascular disease. I then pursued a combined MD/PhD in the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) and earned a doctorate in Microbiology and Immunology. Then I went on to train in Internal Medicine on the ABIM Research Pathway /Physician-Scientist Training Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai-Mount Sinai Hospital. During my residency training I was accepted into the AAAAI Chrysalis Project which solidified my interest in the field of Allergy and Immunology. I look forward to continuing my training as a fellow in Allergy and Immunology and developing my career as a physician-scientist. I am interested in unraveling the immunological mechanisms that lead to allergic and immune-mediated disease with a particular interest in development of and desensitization to food allergy, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, and auto-inflammatory disease. Outside of work, I enjoy reading classic literature, playing piano, hiking, hosting dinner parties and spending time with family.
